Boycott The Sims 3

Sims Fans on social media sites such as Tumblr and Facebook have finally had enough with the misdirection and mismanagement of The Sims Franchise. The demand: stop ripping off your fans and customers.

Fans are completely frustrated at Electronic Arts for the sheer volume of micro transactions from sites including The Sims 3 Store, poor game play and functionality, as well as the sheer volume of bugs that are impacting the game. The boycott calls for fans to not purchase any Sims 3 Title from any store as well as stop purchasing content until Electronic Arts acknowledges the issues at hand. The boycott further calls for users to contact Electronic Arts through Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, the official forums, and other mediums.

Electronic Arts are simply taking more and more of our money, and failing to live up to the standards of previous Sims games with The Sims 3. The overpriced store being forced down our throat, poor expansions with little content and goal orientated gameplay being added, poor stuff packs, social features which we don’t want, and Electronic Arts not listening and simply rushing the game out of the door.

The players, whom purchase the game, want this game fixed and improved. We want you to listen to us, Electronic Arts, since you’re just taking our money and you’re providing a product declining in quality, in comparison with The Sims and The Sims 2 era.
